Mary Beth O’Toole started Transfer Media Group in 2007, bringing her background in film, music, and print together in a firm of her own. “Mary Beth’s drive and energy are immeasurable. There’s nothing holding her back from achieving great success for her clients.” says Robin Reinhardt, Vice President at MTV.

O’Toole has managed public relations campaigns across all facets of the entertainment industry. Her television experience dates back to the acclaimed Mark Burnett/Donald Trump “Apprentice” series. She has spearheaded worldwide press efforts for the hit CBS show “Rock Star: Supernova,” AOL’s cross platform online game show “Gold Rush,” and most recently the Burnett/Spielberg co-produced show “On the Lot.”

O’Toole has worked with a wide spectrum of music clients ranging from the legendary Doors to up and coming Atlantic recording artist Ryan Star. She has also helped “Rock Star” alums Patrice Pike, Storm Large and Mig Ayesa boost awareness of their new albums and multi-national tours. Most recently she signed on to helm the PR efforts of the young pop-emo band Hawthorne Heights managed by Stu Sobol of The Firm.

As a former member of the national promotions and special events team at Lions Gate Films, she worked on premieres and promotions for a vast slate of theatrical releases. With titles including Secretary, Dogville, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Cooler, and House of 1000 Corpses, she helped facilitate dynamic media campaigns across the country highlighted by multiple festival appearances and award nominations. Her latest film project was the critically acclaimed Sundance selection and Spike Lee production “The Confederate States of America.”

O’Toole is originally from Walnut Creek, Calif. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
