Nicholas J. Allsop is the Executive + Special Projects Associate at Mobilize.org, directly supporting the Chief Executive Officer, Maya Enista. He first came into Mobilize.org as Programming Intern in June 2010 during the summer between his junior and senior year at the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities.
Supporting the Vice President of Programs, Allsop created organizational systems and templates to help track Mobilize.org’s Awardees including participant applications, participant and proposal tracking sheets, competition guides and project agreement forms.
Allsop’s strong analytical and organizational skills have been recognized as he received the 2010 Harvey Award for outstanding service to his fraternal chapter, Phi Sigma Kappa – Beta Deuteron, as a result of his dedication and work in restructuring and managing the fraternity’s 12 committees.
After graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, Allsop moved to Washington, DC to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector where fate lead him to joining back up with the Mobilize.org team.
Allsop takes deep pride in traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina for his first Mobilize.org Summit, Target 2020 North Carolina where he helped manage the convening of 100 community college students to discuss and lower barriers for community college completion. He looks forward to supporting the Mobilize.org team as it continues to grow and develop its programming.
