Outdoor Nation

On June 19 and 20, Outdoor Nation and Mobilize.org convened 500 Millennials from all over the country in New York’s Central Park for the Outdoor Nation

Youth Summit. There, participants championed the outdoors as athletes, artists, advocates and ambassadors. They set the agenda, led the conversation, and developed action plans to encourage their peers to become stewards of the environment and to promote healthy lifestyles by engaging in outdoor activities.

Held in the world’s media capital and country’s most popular urban park, the Outdoor Nation Youth Summit harnessed the passion, energy and ideas of a new generation eager to influence the future and to stand up for change. Summit delegates not only crafted and delivered a message of change to the country, but strengthened the outdoor youth movement by infusing new ideas, skills and connections in a solution-driven environment. Participants left motivated and ready to mobilize their peers to reclaim and redefine the outdoors.
