Summit: Beyond the Welcome Home
Veterans are very experienced in providing service to their nation and its citizens. Veterans are an incredible asset to volunteer service agencies not only because of their ability to complete some of the most challenging problems, but also because of their ability to inspire others in the community to also join in service. Warriors in Service would like to create a program specifically for Veterans, from all over the United States, in which they can plan, facilitate, and carry out service projects addressing the needs of the elderly, disabled, and ill in their communities. Through this program Veterans will have to opportunity to inspire, lead and work side by side with the very civilians they have protected.
