Peer Pairing is a student‐led effort to implement peer to peer support groups for first year community college students. The Peer Pairing project team will create a learning community that will serve as a student mentoring and support organization. Student mentors will encourage new students and provide them with the mental and emotional support needed during the sometimes intimidating transition into the college community. With support from five faculty advisors, student mentors and mentees will meet weekly for one hour each semester to explore the different resources offered by the school together.
