Haley Samsel
Haley Samsel is a high school freshman in Plano, Texas. There, she is involved with Partner’s PE, a program that allows students to help special needs kids (the best kind of kids!) earn their PE credit while making friends and gaining confidence in themselves. She grew up in the type of family that spent every weekend either rushing to soccer games, talking (more like yelling) about their favorite teams, or watching Sunday night football. Samsel began her sports career when she was five years old playing soccer on a team which she cleverly named “The Barbies.” Since then, she has played almost every sport under the sun including her favorites – soccer and basketball, and even a bit of bowling thrown in there.
