Millennial Meetup for Innovation in Education
The Target 2020 Millennial Meetup for Innovation in Education on May 4, 2012 at City College of San Francisco was the final event in the Target 2020 California Series. The Meetup highlighted the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in developing Millennial-led solutions to college completion. Participants also went through a solution-building process for fostering new ideas to improve student success and participated in a competition to win $500 for their student engagement project ideas.
Participants included community college students and faculty from various campuses such as Canada College, Folsom Lake College, College of Alameda, Chabot College, Chabot College, Los Medanos College, San Francisco City College and De Anza College.
