On June 1-3, 2012, Mobilize.org convened over 100 Millennials currently enrolled in South Florida’s community colleges to discuss the challenges they face in completing their education and develop solutions to address them. Students collaborated with civic leaders, administration officials, and faculty on ways they can work together to tackle issues students face on their campuses and in their communities and develop stronger networks for student support. The summit featured remarks from Senator Bob Graham, U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha J. Kanter, author of Community College Success Isa Adney and other community leaders.
