On July 4, 2007 Mobilize.org launched the Democracy 2.0 Survey after deciding that the implementation of a nationwide survey would aid the organization in its mission to incorporate the collective voice of Millennials in defining and establishing Democracy 2.0. The organization decided to provide its own definition of Democracy 2.0; “young people not only contributing to, but also building the democracy they want to inherit.”

Each year, Mobilize.org conducts the Democracy 2.0 Survey to better understand the opportunities and obstacles that face our generation. We ask the Millennial Generation to share what’s working and what’s not working within our democracy and to identify the unique characteristics of our generation that empower us to make the changes we want to see.

Our 2010 survey questions will be available online July 15, 2010.
