Campus Organizing Team
Youth Activist Network Campus Organizing Team is a project of Advocates for Youth. Campus Organizers serve as activists, advocates, and spokespeople on issues of adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Advocates for Youth works with campus organizations to provide them with information and materials to conduct advocacy campaigns on their campuses. Each year, five Campus Organizations are chosen to receive intensive assistance, including funding, advocacy and media training, materials for dissemination and on-going assistance to help educate, activate and empower students on issues such as sex education, condom availability, HIV prevention/treatment, and emergency contraception, among others!
Youth Assisting Youth – Volunteer Mentor
Youth Assisting Youth is a non-profit charitable organization that provides mentoring services for youth 6 – 15 years old. We need volunteers – especially guys 16 – 29 years old – to mentor newcomer, at risk and special needs youth in your community. You’ll both benefit. We train you, and you can do it on your own schedule. You can make a difference.
Inner City Youth Talent Show Staff
The All Stars Project (ASP) is a nationally-recognized, independently funded organization bringing an innovative model of development to inner-city youth. The ASP seeks to empower and engage young people through a unique, performance-based model.
The All Stars Project of Chicago was launched in 2007. We are currently looking for volunteers to support an innovative performance and development program for youth on Chicago’s South and West Sides. In the ‘All Stars Talent Show’, every young person who auditions makes it into the show. The youth, ages 5 – 25, also learn how to organize productions and perform as leaders in their communities.
Adult and youth volunteers work together to conduct community outreach and produce auditions, workshops and shows, and help expand the Chicago affiliate of this nationally recognized youth program.

A national nonprofit organization that encourages young people to help build their communities. Organizer of The Kindness and Justice Challenge, a nationwide two-week “character education” and community service effort in January.

Landmark Volunteers
A nonprofit summer service organization for high school students 14 and a half years of age or older, entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade. The program offers youth volunteers the opportunity to spend two weeks working at one of several important U.S. historical, cultural, environmental or social service institutions.
